Summary
Catherine Ripois decides to divorce her husband, André, a serial philanderer, when
he starts making overtures to her best friend, Patricia. André is convinced
that Patricia is the woman he has been searching for all his life and opens his heart
to her, telling her all about his previous amorous adventures. His story begins
in London when, living in impoverished circumstances, he uses his seductive charms to
