Summary
Maine, the girlfriend of a notorious gangster, Godot, receives an unexpected visit from
her ex-husband and her daughter. At the time, Godot is in the midst of a gangland
war with a rival gangster, and it becomes clear that Maine’s ex-husband himself has a
few scores to settle…
Review
This fairly standard crime thriller Yves Allégret has an exceptional cast, including
Edwige Feuillère and Jean Servais. A young Alain Delon distinguishes himself
in his first film role, playing the kind of character he would become most associated
with in the following few decades.
